Question: If I place a special order, how long will I have to wait for delivery?
Answer: Not as long as you might think. Our manufacturers inventory a vast inventory of fabric,
frames, and styles. Our customers are more often surprised how soon their order arrives. Since
there are always exceptions, our sales consultants are advised to quote 8 to 10 weeks to cover
all contingencies, however the great majority of orders are filled much faster.
Question: What if I experience a problem with an item that I have purchased from the store?
Answer: The Pilgrim House maintains its own service department to facilitate the manufacturer's
warrantee for repair or replacement of any item. We pride ourselves on offering quality furniture
and for over forty years we have stood behind what we sell. There is also an exceptional long term
warrantee that covers stains, and accidental damage that is available at the time of sale.
Question: What is the charge for delivery?
Answer: The Pilgrim House charges a nominal fee for delivery and set-up in the local area of $40.
Delivery outside the area is based on mileage and can be quoted upon request. We do not contract out our delivery
service, all delivery's are made by Pilgrim House employees in order that we may assure the proper handling of
your furniture.
Question: What name brands does the Pilgrim House carry?
Answer: You can find many brands on our web site that you are probably familiar with, however not all
brands are household names. We have many producers of quality furniture that are small family owned
manufacturer's that have a long history of expert craftsmanship. We strive to find quality and a good
value for our customers, we do not choose a supplier just for the sake of a well advertised name brand.
Question: Does the Pilgrim House offer design service?
Answer: Yes. Our sales consultants are experienced and knowledgeable to assist in your design needs.
We also have those on staff who are trained to design your particular room for size, style and color.
In home consultation is available for a fee with a portion credited back to your purchase.
Question: I have heard the Pilgrim House is expensive, is it?
Answer: A customer told us recently "you get a bad rap with some people saying that you are
expensive, you are not expensive". We do not display items based on 'price point' we select those items that
are of the best value. Something that costs a little more can be a much better value that a similar item that
is priced less. We know you may not always remember what you paid for something, but you will always remember
where you bought it. Furniture that gives lasting function while maintaining its beauty is what we strive to offer.
Question: Are all of the items on the Internet showroom displayed on your floor?
Answer: Unfortunately no, because of the vast selection with each of our manufacturers,
we are unable to floor every option. However, everything that is shown can be ordered if it is not in stock.
